I just had a catch up with my dear friend Mel, and was reminded of my first mountain biking experience at Spruce Lake and thought I’d post a couple of pictures. It was a an amazing introduction for scenery and company. We were picked up from Gun Lake by a float plane, and the rest you can see for yourself!

Although I spend many hours on a bike on the Vancouver streets, I was reminded of the impact of DISCOVERING a new activity in a new location. Not only did I laugh so hard I had to cross my legs, I nearly died slipping off the edge of the trail. My breath was taken away by the beauty of British Columbia and I can now say “I’ve tried it”.

So go on, DISCOVER something new. It’s definitely a summer highlight…

Cheers me dears,

Fiona
